复兴古堡店2014年夏天开业，距离杨桃院子的第一个院子（安海花园店）已经过去了五年。那时，鼓浪屿没有蜂拥而至的游客，只有安安静静的老房子们，他们大多数是华侨遗留下来的祖产，掩藏在绿树中，无人居住，却听着海风的声音，安守着一座海岛的宁静。但即使鼓浪屿如今游人如织，古堡店依然宁静如初，隐世安稳，这里的夜，只能听到树叶的沙响，鸟语花香。

从三丘田码头沿海岸线缓缓步行，再穿过一段静谧的小巷，便很快到达杨桃院子复兴古堡店。这是杨桃院子的第三家民宿，走上楼梯，拱形走廊印入眼帘，如果空间也有气质，那这种气质仿若欧洲教堂，中轴线一通到底，每走几步就会有一个海木的装饰，或家具。
