Yin Cheng Zong 殷承宗

In 1941, Yin Cheng Zong was born on Ku­lang­su (Gu­langyu) Is­land. In spring 1950, Yin Cheng Zong host­ed his first “9‑year-old pi­ano so­lo con­cert” at the [A.R.C.M. Girls’ Mid­dle School]. Yin Cheng Zong showed his gift for mu­sic at a very young age. In 1962, he won the sec­ond place in the pres­ti­gious Sec­ond Tchaikovsky In­ter­na­tion­al Pi­ano Competition.

Yin Cheng Zong al­so com­posed a se­ries of na­tion­al style of pi­ano so­los, such as “Shi Mi­an Mai Fu,” “Chun Jiang Hua Yue Ye”, “Ping Hu Qiu Yue”, “Mei Hua San Nong”, and“Bai Niao Chao Feng.” In 1970, Yin cheng zong worked with oth­ers to cre­ate the “Huang He,” which was cre­at­ed based on the “Huang He Da He Chang.”

1941年,殷承宗出生于鼓浪屿鸡山路圃庵。1950年春天,在鼓浪屿毓德女子中学礼堂举行“9岁幼童钢琴独奏音乐会”,很早就崭露了音乐天赋。1962年获第二届柴可夫斯基国际钢琴比赛第二名。殷承宗主持创作了一系列民族风格的钢琴独奏曲,如《十面埋伏》、《春江花月夜》、《平湖秋月》、《梅花三弄》、《百鸟朝凤》等。1970年,殷承宗与人合作,根据《黄河大合唱》改编创作了钢琴协作曲《黄河》。
