Founded in 2006, Gulangyu Islet International Art Gallery was closed on October 20th, 2017 for renovation. After one and a half months, the gallery reopened to the public again. The floor, the wall, the lighting, and the interior of the gallery were completely renovated. From now on, the gallery will change the display themes regularly and will invite some artists to create artworks in the public or to open lectures to interact with tourists.
时隔一个半月，鼓浪屿国际刻字艺术馆昨日重新开门迎客。据了解，刻字艺术馆于2006年成立，而今年10月20日开始的整修是它开馆十多年来的首次大改造。不仅地板、墙壁、灯光等内部装潢都焕然一新，珍藏于馆内的上千幅作品也得到盘活。今后，艺术馆将以不同的主题不定期更换布展，并邀请刻字艺术家现场刻字或开办讲座，与游客互动。
